We are looking for daredevils to brighten up the week of mathematics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The week of mathematics will be held from 11.03 to 16.03 together with the Junior Academy of Sciences and a large team of partners.
We invite you to join us now and take part in the contest “2024 – the year of Pi?” from the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Theory of Probability
You just need to get the number 2024 using the minimum number of numbers π. According to the rules, you can use the signs of arithmetic operations (+, -, ×, /), powers and brackets, the integer part [-] and the fractional part {-}. But it is forbidden to use the numbers from 0 to 9.
Both students and schoolchildren can participate.
🥇 The winner will be the first participant to use the smallest number of numbers π.
